on May 14, 2020 the government of the Republic of Slovenia has proclaimed a decree on the temporary prohibition of gathering people in institutions in the field of education. The decree enters into force on Monday, May 18, 2020 and removes the temporary ban on gathering people in student dormitories of March 15, 2020.
This means that the residents of the Student dormitories of the University of Maribor can return to their dorms. Only healthy people who do not show any of the symptoms of COVID 19 can return to their dorms. We would like to remind you that from May 18, 2020 onwards, residents of the Student dormitories of the University of Maribor must obey the special residence instructions for the prevention and spread of the infection.

Special instructions determine temporarily, special, living conditions, conditions of use of rooms and common areas. Special instructions will be supplemented when we receive instructions from the National Institute of Public Health. Please read the emergency instructions and follow them. Violations will be severely sanctioned. It is obligatory to follow hygiene recommendations of the National Institute of Public Health for dormitories of March 27, 2020.

Until the cancellation, communication and work with employees will take place only by e-mail and telephone. Personal communication with employees in the office will be allowed only in case of emergency check-out, new check-in and check-in of students who were on exchange and change of resident status (rent with a subsidy to economic rent and vice versa).
Moving to another room or to a single room is not possible until cancellation of this instruction.

A personal visit in the student office is only possible with prior notice, where you will receive the exact date and time of visit. In the office you can enter individually, and each visitor has to wear a mask. Those waiting for the service are obliged to provide a social distance of at least 1.5 m and are obliged to wait in front of the dorm or administrative building (Gosposvetska dormitory).
